It was right in the wake of DFW's death, so it was Dan and Terry doing the talking with producer Jason popping off out of turn. Dan was trying to explain to Jason that depression is an illness that claims lives and Jason wasn't having any of it -- suicide being yet another thing Brothers Don't Do. It should go without saying that I found this distasteful on multiple levels.

I'm having trouble picturing Jason diving into David Foster Wallace. "What do you mean you wouldn't go on another free cruise? How does that make you sad?"

I suspect that any sane, decent person would have the same reaction.

This post articulated what is a personal growing distaste for Goff. Fast approaching PTFB territory for me.

Saw this and thought of the bothers don't do that. What an ignorant and distasteful comment.

Interesting that his father thinks it was an accidental shooting and not a suicide.

Cops did it and staged it to look like a suicide.

Maybe it's a "bit" form Goff? LoHo did the whole Stephen from Django Unchained thing for over a decade and it got his career nowhere.
