Don't bother. I found it on Youtube, and it was literally nothing.

While I don't think the call was staged, it is interesting how much the Score pounced on this as something to promote. Boers and Bernstein with Jason probably took this same call, more or less, at least twenty times: blah blah blah, well I'm from da sout side, it's DA BLACKS, so on, so forth, and Dan called the guy ignorant and Jason jumped in to do the same. But now Jason is putting the world to rights on AM radio and the world needs to hear it and NO SIR WE WILL NOT BACK DOWN FROM USING OUR PLATFORM. Maybe it's just a different world with the ascension of corporate social media and Trump and all that. I don't know, the world is a terrible place.

I thought that was odd too. i think the call was genuine but was propped up on a tee when it came in. this was the plan the moment the first 5 words came out of his mouth to a producer. not fake but semi manufactured.

Celebrate/promote said "controversial" rant across multiple platforms then soft-suspend the ranter.

Yea, beat me to it.

If it's a suspension, they are certainly sending mixed messages to Goff. They are carrying him around on their shoulders on social media.

I think the message would be clear: "Great virtue signaling, but don't allude to sponsors while you're doing it, because we're not THAT virtuous."

That's how I think it's always been: jamokes that Dan/Terry/Jason can take batting practice on, who are still strangely plentiful 20+ years into Dan Bernstein's career, won't be made to wait on hold. Some would say that's just good production and they're not necessarily wrong.

I called the show one time, probably a decade ago, while Goff (the producer) was guest-hosting with Boers while Bernstein was out. I explained that I thought Ben Gordon was hindering Rose's development and that they would never be a serious contender with Gordon as their primary threat. Goff dismissed me. Two years later, Gordon was a nothing in Detroit and Rose was MVP. Eat shit, Goff!

Senor would later make this same argument, saying that Gordon was "a...(sigh) a drug that the Bulls are...addicted to, and they need to break. that. addiction."

I'm still waiting for one of you conspiracy theorists to explain to me how Jason got suspended after the show on Wednesday and was in Florida on Thursday morning.

His rookie year was the most fun non title team of my life. Believe they started 0-11 and ended up with 47 wins.

He was crazy in the 4th quarter.

He was fun to watch, for sure. Not a guy who could be a number 1, though.

I agree with RPB. He was going unconscious in those 4th quarters. That one playoff series with Boston was off the charts.

Well such an explanation would start with Goff ranting and subsequently being asked to stay home after the show on Tuesday.

How do you know he was actually in FLA?

On twitter Goff said he was taking care of his lady yesterday. Which implied she was sick. So I don't think he took his sick lady to Florida for one day.

Uh, if you enjoy watching a guy dribble the ball off his shins, passing the ball into the stands, and getting torched left and right on defense, then Ben Gordon was most definitely your guy.

Quite possibly the dumbest contingent of Chicago sports fans that I'm aware of are Ben Gordon supporters.

Color me a flaming queer, in that case. I always despised Ben Gordon because of his atrocious fundamentals. I think I hated his stupid face more than anything. But it's ancient history, and thank Christ for that. I didn't mean to piss on your childhood memories, my bad.
