I understood it when he was a producer. Scared kid wanting to please the great one. Not challenging him on his racist comments. Makes sense. I'd do the same. Not now. Goff is a made man. Yet you still hear him begging for Bernstein's approval. You still hear him doing the Bernstein act. We all heard today as they recited the exact same opinion on the Cubs game. C'mon, Goff. True. You're not an equal to Bernstein at this point. His tenure and status still puts him above you. But you're close. You don't need to do the bullshit you once had to do to make it. You don't need to be him like you once had to do. Stop trying to be Bernstein at this point. Stop being scared of him. You're the only black man scared of a 5'8 Jewish guy. Sorry. 5'8.5. Bernstein wants that half inch. |
