Outside of the stupid ass comment about "getting the right guy" is there even a remote case for justifying Izzo being fired? I mean I don't like the guy, but did he know of abuse allegations as well? I haven't read anywhere that he did. Just his stupid ass comment

Yes. He knew. He also helped them not get charged.

But that is for the basketball players that were accused of rape though right?

He will retire based on what happened with multiple basketball players.

If someone could please help me on this. The creepy Dr. in jail had nothing to do with Izzo. Got that

ESPN OTL did a report on basketball and football. A player on the bball team who was a graduate assistant i believe was charged on two cases. Hitting a women in a bar and sexually assaulting a woman.

1st question was he convicted on both? Second question is was he kicked off the team?

Again really appreciate so I dont know what all the facts are and what they are not. Thanks again for anyone who can fill me in.

since when does conviction mean anything? as dan bernstein geelfully chides callers... this isnt a court of law!!! if you get accused you need to be fired immediately per 2018 society rules... adrien payne got fired by his G league ( or whatever the hell it is called league) team right after OTL issued their report.

Quiet show thread today, we're too preoccupied with chili.

Turned it on for 2 minutes. Bernstein did a decent Pat Boyle impression.

Then Goff said "y'know" 5 times in 10 seconds so I turned it off.

In B&G's interview with Paula Levine regarding her investigation of MSU, she had to reel in Goof as he went on about the "gang rape culture" and how Travis Walton had committed "two gang rapes." (She pointed out one was an accusation and the other was not a gang rape, but rather a bar incident where he punched someone in the face.)

I'm sure they would say it's to raise awareness and not sugarcoat it, but the overuse of the term gang rape and Goff talking about running trains and girls being the "property" of the whole team who used them as "personal playgrounds" just seems over the top. If that type of thing was happening, I have a hard time believing a basketball coach--even Izzo--would cover it up to protect a player.

Dan implied the Hawks ran a train on Cheryl Scott.

Right. It shows that Goff isn't well read on the story. He's just pushing his agenda. When the women that did the researched story has to correct the great Goff, he looks like as ass. But it doesn't matter. Just like whatever Trump says doesn't matter.

I'll bet Goff didn't even read the entire ESPN story. But he knows to go after whitey Izzo. That's what he knows.

It seems implied is a tool of the show.
