Just a couple weeks ago he we heard him cryptically hint about how these guys are evil. "I hear things, playa." Well, now they are partners with Goff's station so he will now say that they are great.

Bernstein has to pretend to like Swirsky. Even though he has called him a bag in the past.

During transition Goff sounded like the cat that ate the canary.

He also used "We" in reference to "didn't we just lose somebody?" who happened to be Chief Keef's brother or cousin.

Can't use "we" about the Bears but you can use "we" when referring to family members of local rappers!

oh here it is:

But for a certain segment of our listenership, he's become the avatar for a sort of...[sigh]...I don't want to say backwards, but certainly an unlettered, a provincial, a reactionary, if you will, view of sports. And looking at the Cubs, the Sox, the Bears, the Bulls...I just...[sigh]...I just think this city's teams have gotten so much smarter. So I guess my question is: haven't we, as a station, gotten smarter, too?

god damn

Dan's not going to ask football players "Would you do it all over again?" (knowing what they know now about CTE), but he is going to tell them he's not going to ask them "Would you do it all over again?"

That's not the point. I don't doubt that the owners don't tell them not to say stuff.

But it's understood by the hosts not to cross certain lines without being told. And I'm not saying they won't criticize. Of course they will. But it's the deeper shit that they won't do. Like Bernstein calling Krane Kenny a complete dumb ass. Or Goff calling Gar and Pax evil.

Does Rosevelt Colvin work in media? If he doesn't, he certainly sounds like he could.

I had a class with him in college. He seemed pretty smart and really nice. That was not the case for other football players I met or had in class.

I honestly hope Goff and Bernstein ratchet up the Bulls hatred. Should make for great radio. Fuck this Bulls management team.
