No idea what this means but if Bernstein is for it I am against it.

Jason on the Patriots:

Oh, the irony.

That would be him.....

But there's nuance.

Dan was talking about how knowing Chekhov's Gun will ruin every movie for you because now you'll realize that everything introduced into the story has a point. Then he said unless they're red herrings.

I appreciate that he tried to top "they shouldn't poach them after we cook them," but he didn't.

I go back and forth. On my first viewing, I fucking hated her. After reflection and rewatches, I only dislike her now.

Just NFL and NFL politics talk....he said the "polls are not scientific" today, but in the past, he's relied on them.

not to mention the twitter poll they took today.

Whenever I hear Dan talk movies, I get the sense that he's that kid from The Office who said "My two favorite movies are Citizen Kane and Boondock Saints."

Spend the last show before the Super Bowl talking about how much football sucks.

The thing I like about this show is how little they care about having interesting topics that people want to hear.

 This whole segment is the episode where Krusty went to jail and Sideshow Bob turned the show into an exploration of pre-adolescent turmoil called "Choices."

Oh, the irony.

Will they ever just admit the reasons they attack Tom Brady is political? They don't like that he's associated/supporter of the current President?

I could be incorrect with my guess as to why they refer to him as simple, dumb, etc, but they don't seem capable of understanding that some players (like Brady) just don't share much information with the media.

The attacks on the Patriots (beyond Brady) have also grown as the week goes on.

I love watching great players play - guys like Brady are so good at their jobs, it's always must watch for me. The negativity from this show and the focus on non-sports has to have an impact on their ratings..

They do talk way more about the NBA than most local shows. I'm a fan of the league, although I fine myself watching less since the Bulls are so bad. I do still enjoy the overall league.

They obviously know the reaction they will receive to their social justice/political topics, but it could be that simple. These topics create emotion/anger so they feed it.

Jeb Lund had a good piece today about how liberals and conservatives can find things to hate about Tom Brady.

All of Brian Billick's answers sound like canned tape. It's like he picked up a phone and started reading from a script. Every word is generic and sometimes has no reference to the question.

Brian is phoning in this phone interview.

I think they have mastered having a show no one wants to hear.

He probably has the same gig in every major market in the country. He's being paid to phone in. I'm sure he just puts together his talking points for each week's segments.
