Could have done one of two things:

1) call it the Second Half because that name means something to people
2) call it High Noon because that name also means something to people and do it an hour later and just roll with your quick-hits segment not being at the midpoint of the show

For all the complaining we did about Terry being a rubber stamp for Dan, holy shit, McDoink really serves no purpose on this show. He sounds like a producer chiming in on a solo show. And even Terry had a unique voice. This is just in one ear, out the other.

i don't quite get why mcdoink is a better fit than speigal to pair with bernstein. I suppose for speigal's mental health working with bernstein every day could be bad for him.. but i'd rather they'd chosen that pairing

We don't know if these two will turn into something decent. But I suspect this is a long term cost cutting move.
