It's not a coincidence that Bernstein decided to do this bullshit after his demotion.

He's nervous.

This demotion stunned and scared him. I don't know how long his contract goes, but he's clearly looking for other revenue streams in case the SCORE fires him once that contract is up.

He's made a lot of enemies in this city. ESPN 1000 would never hire him. WGN and WLS are the only other stations in Chicago where he can make big money as a talk show host. And they're not gonna hire him for general talk.

He's not pretty. So TV is out of the question. He writes, but not very well and writing doesn't pay what he's making now.

He's got a daughter a couple of years from college and a son not far behind. He probably is only half way from paying off his million dollar Chicago home and he just got back from an Italy family vacation that probably set him back 10 or 15k.

I'm not saying he's gonna be in poverty. Drinky is surviving in a much worse position. So Bernstein will manage. But he wants the nicer life style and the best advantages for his kids. That's what scares him. He thought he would have afternoons at the SCORE making his 400k for another 15 years. Now that's in jeopardy in his mind.

The customers are those people who would pay 20 dollars for a birthday wish from a minor celebrity.
