Well Bob when Sabremetrics tell me a guy with 3k career hits isn’t a HOF’er, they deserve to mocked and ridiculed and dismissed .

The reality is, it(Brocks HOF worthiness) is a lot closer than I think many of you want to admit IMO. The problem is the argument being presented by an insufferable asshole, like Dan Bernstein.

First off, the jury is still out on Palka. He might have a HOF career. He might out of MLB by this time next year.

Jorr didn't say that Abreu > Votto. He used one specific example of where taking a walk could actually be a detriment to his team while benefiting the player's own SABR numbers.

I've come around on Keyser a bit.

He doesn't proclaim himself to be an expert (except when in comparison to White Sox management) and seems good at knowing what to look for in guys at the high school/college level.

Like MANY a scout and MANY fans, he has his guys and if they don't make it the blame falls on the team.
