He's alientated so many listeners spewing his venom him being tweaked for success seems unfathomable.

Goff is not talented to enough to host or co-host a show. He is a producer. That is not putting him down, just the truth.

Evidence of this:
Talks to much and over co-hosts/guests
Giggles far too much
Rambles on endlessly many times
Extremely sensitive, gets fixated on callers/issues
SJW who only sees one side of an issue
Somehow arrogant
Foolish arrogance - I got a nice car/ got a 5 figure check
Predictable on his stances
Hypocritical on hit "outrage."

There is some talent in Goff. But he has the pride and stubbornness of a 90 year old man. Hell, he had this at 18 when he walked out of that class. Which means he'll never accept constructive criticism or admit his flaws. He'll always think people think he's bad because of race talk. That's what he told Larry. That's really what he thinks. That's the easy conclusion for Goff. But it's more than that. He'll never take that chip off his shoulder to realize it. Goff's just wired that way. It's a shame.

goff can be "tamed" so to speak. someday he'll realize this medium is way less forgiving than in the past and can adapt. i don't think he's stupid. you either have to have something that really sets you apart and/or you have had to do your time (mcneil, bernsie, etc etc) to keep your job.

I am not sure what the issue is with some here. Goff built a career resume. He made choices in how he wanted to be as a broadcaster. He was shown the door in Atlanta, went to satellite/national stuff, back to the score and now out there. Now he is on satellite doing what he wants to do and apparently in the manner in which he wants to do it.

If he wanted to still be at the score he could have likely done a few things in the last couple of years to make that so.
