If Bernsie & Spiegs were a full time show, it’d be the best tandem from a purely chemistry point of view.

Haugh is the worst host.

Grimace wouldn't last a month hosting with Bernstein. Spiegs gets too sensitive to work with a miserable penis like Bernstein everyday.

Agreed. Remember years ago when Speigel would get himself worked up all show long over something Bernstein said and confront him during transition, only for Bernstein to swat him aside, often acting as though he didn't give a rat's ass about what Speigel thought, leaving him even more upset and frustrated than he was in the first place?

I think that would likely happen again, except instead of happening during transition it would happen for the duration of their show until Speigel eventually self-destructed and wandered around Wrigley Field wearing his wife's wedding dress and mumbling to himself.

Aesthetically, McKnight is horrible. Add to that, by bringing absolutely NOTHING to the table, he is hands down the worst host on the station. That includes everybody. Yup, ev-er-y-bod-y.

Bernstein has obviously chilled considerably with the dick head act, too much so perhaps.

Spiegel takes himself less seriously as well and I think his experience with Parkins and subsequent demotion thickened his skin


Point being, Dan and Matt would mesh just fine on a personality front

I don't think McKnight or Spiegal are bad, they're just sort of 'blah'. Nobody is going turn the station on to listen to either, and they're sort of sidekicks hosts to the main person which is Bernstein.

Bernstein is very good when he wants to be. The problem is he likes to provide his social justice crap. Being a sports radio host doesn't make me care about his political opinions, but too many of these hosts think the platform now plays into that (in the age of Trump, we must resist crap..).

Goff was awful. Social justice/racism every show. Who wants to listen to that?

Boers was fine until he wasn't. He retired years before the Score got rid of him.

Not sure it would be better than Mac and Parko but it would be a helluva lot better than Bernstein and McKnight. The only reason I haven't completely unsubscribed to Bernstein and McKnight are days like today when I can download just today's podcasts.

Say what you will about Spiegel, he is definitely better than Mulli (can't articulate thoughts clearly and has annoying verbal tics, "ON THE SCORE!") and McKnight (has no original opinions on anything and lives to please Bernstein). Swapping either of those guys out for Spiegel would improve either show.

I agree. Firing Spiegel for McDoink was wrong. McDoink isn't interesting. He's not funny. He's basically a robot.

Spiegel and Bernstein would have been good. I think it would have been the perfect pairing.

I'll say this for Bernstein. I do find him to be funny. Mac is 2nd to him. The rest of the SCORE guys aren't funny at all.

Bernstein and Mcknight is not bad, its not good, it just meh. Far more Mcknight than Dan. It would be the show you would listen to when you exhuausted your podcasts, siriux/xm, 1000 on a commercial break. Then it might be a short listen

Bernstein and Spiegel...I agree with where you are going, board would hate it. Spiegs seems like the good hearted person who has all these great ideas to make the world better, but never pays back friends when he owe's money kind of guy.

Is it anything like when Parkins finishes a comment with, "right." He doesn't use it for a question but to somehow confirm what he's saying with his cohost as though it's indisputable and then he continues to prattle on. Dope.

Spiegel and Mully do that as well. It’s faaaaar down on the list of his weaknesses though.
