I don’t think there was any need for redemption but hopefully he understands now most people aren’t protesting the military or flag or anthem.

I’d be disappointed if he kneeled. THAT would be groveling and I’d be shocked if he did it. He doesn’t need to participate or even agree with it, seems like folks were just pissed he was repeating the same old tired line without even acknowledging the ones who were doing the kneeling were saying what it was about.

Obviously since the NFL and NBA are largely comprised of black players the whole national convo on race is going to figure more prominently there.
