really!? that's surprising. if something was going on someone would have talked.

i do remember during their last cup there were rumors of the hawks team not living up w/ their clean image but didnt know what that was about.

Do they have research that indicates hiring female hosts will somehow magically bring multitudes of new female listeners? If so, why not bring back the female hosts they laid off? The only people that have any idea the station exists are 40-50 year old guys that primarily consume Cubs/Bears content. It would seem the station would recognize that demographic as the only one they have any chance of reaching, and why not, this group will be available for the next 10 years at least and does have tons more discretionary income than younger groups.

Well that’s why Julie and others who make the contention are ridiculous . If there were this untapped goldmine of potential ad revenue to be had by putting tampon commercials on 670 to appeal to all those women listeners , they’d do it .
