WTF? Archie may have insulted her intelligence and called her a dingbat one too many times, but for each and every episode of that show there was nothing except 100% unconditional love in his heart for Edith.

Leila said she didn't like All In the Family because of threats of spousal violence. She's wrong. Edith might of slapped Archie. That's it. None by Archie or Mike.

I’ve heard Leila on a couple times now as a part timer and it’s almost PTFB radio for me. Thankfully I’m only in the car 5 or 6 minutes at a time to go home for lunch and to go back to work. I find her obnoxious and never funny.

The truly ridiculous thing is the Score acting like Leila Wednesday is some big attraction to the audience. She was filler for her one year at the station, during which she perpetually had her eye on returning to TV.

As I've written before, she's an empty vessel, most qualified to read teleprompter on TV. She sounds awkward anytime she is given a chance to riff.

There's a dry sense of humor that I like. Besides, once the Jeffersons moved on up to east side, All In The Family fucking sucked. And you have to admit, both women in that household were objectively dumb as a box of rocks. The show was crazily overrated.

i'm guessing she's done with wednesdays? if so, those were 3 precious hours a week where she can give her opinions and thoughts on all matters that she can't do on tv.

career-wise...the money and tv exposure is a no-brainer; but i'm thinking it's got to be a bummer for her not to have 15 hours a week to talk about things important to her. to stay relevant, she may find a partner and do podcasts? she had former channel 9 reporter lauren magiera on recently and i can see those two..
