Danny’s playing the hits today. Excellent segment just now with a student journalist (the real heroes of this whole affair) wherein he tried to goad her into saying she feared for her safety after publishing these details. Very serious radio voice. Very serious concern over mean comments online. 10/10; would recommend. |

Do me a favor everyone. Keep me updated on their coverage of this all week. I can't listen to most of it. I'm sure they're doing what we all expect them to do. But post it anyway. wasn't there a report from 2009. That was under the watch of the former AD Dan used to fellate. I wonder if he will take him to task. An AD should know everything that is going on in his program, just as a coach should. |

Major college football is a bizarre world where odd men with barely room temperature IQs are somehow bed fellows with highly educated folks that happily look the other way as the odd men behave badly because the odd men are able to bring in millions of dollars every year to pay the highly educated folks six figure salaries to sit in ivory tower offices doing almost nothing. Dudes like Bernstein know this, he's covered Coach K, one of the oddest of the odd men, but the media types look the other way as well because they also depend on the odd men for income, of course they feign outrage when events are publicized, but they know damn well this type of stuff is happening on college campuses across the country every single day. Found the effort made to continue to play games during COVID interesting, they had to provide content for TV partners or the entire house of cards that is college athletics would collapse, the money must come in at all costs. |

Major college football gets a lot of passes because the students and alumni are so vested in their teams. As an ND fan, I used to argue with the holier than thou alums who just could not see how dirty Holtz et al were. The alums will go to their graves defending the team. |

listened to about 10-15 minutes just now and they were discussing the HR derby . Dan and his son watched the statcast version to track all the launch angles and exit velo's but of course it was in the context of the scandal. "We needed that " after a day of heavy radio. Lots of sighing. THey're gonna squeeze at least a few weeks out of this. |
