I think this is the first time Goff has hosted on the SCORE since the “Evil white man” fired him. By the way, I think Goff and Herron hate each other. Herron is all proper and polite. Goff, we all know, is not. That’s why there is always tension with these two. |

It was past 5:30 or so. They did ask us anything. Somebody asked goff what he missed about the SCORE. He rambled on saying the SCORE was a mission for him and that he got fired for saying stuff about Kapernick. And that people at the SCORE are now allowed to say that shit. That he was on the right side of history when it wasn't cool. Typical Goff weirdness. He was rambling on. You know Goff. Herron can't say a word cuz Goff just pukes out words and let's nobody else talk. He's still the same in that regard. I don't think Goff was fired over Kapernick comments. That kind of came out of nowhere. I think Goff has convinced himself of that, though. Goff believes that he's like a Dave Chapel. He believes he's a leader and an important figure. And the SCORE took away his voice. He sounded very angry. He is clearly still bitter about the SCORE thing. I don't know why. Because then he started bragging how he makes more doing his podcast then what he made at the SCORE. That has to be a lie. Unless he meant his producer days. Goff was going 100 different directions so it's hard to explain what he was saying. I don't even know if I fully understood. But it was 5:20 or 5:30 all the way to the end of the show. |

I caught some of the show. Was good to hear Goff. I liked him back in the day. No way he makes more on a podcast than he did while working at the Score. |

His show with Bernstein was brutal, single thought track radio, but bet he was launched because they started telling people to stop listening, that surely went over well with advertisers. Not really sure what he is so mad about, the dude was given several shots at sports talk radio and failed spectacularly at each stop, most of the producer types never even get one chance, let alone two like he did and he oddly failed upward by getting launched in Atlanta and then somehow falling into a drive time show in a larger market. Goff was going 100 different directions so it's hard to explain what he was saying. I don't even know if I fully understood. But it was 5:20 or 5:30 all the way to the end of the show. |

In addition to lifting most of Bomani Jones's bit, Jason also seems to see himself as a combination of Dave Chappelle and LeBron James, a bold truth-teller about race relations whose career arc is a triumphant hero's journey. It's an almost childlike quality of his that he so obviously shows his brushstrokes with regard to his role models: "when I grow up, I will be the LeBron James of arguing about sports on the radio." |

I think him saying he was fired over kapernick fits his narrative. He convinced himself that was the reason. If he wants to be a race leader he needs to prepare his words and speak better. Be on point. Chappell is smart. Goff is just unhinged. |

Goff also played the martyr card. Saying him being fired over Kapernick support allowed the current SCORE hosts to now be comfortably woke on the air. Since he was on the right side of history first and was killed for it. It was something. You can tell Herron was sitting there in shock. He couldn't say anything. Goff doesn't allow anybody to talk when he's rolling. |

He definitely does not hold himself to standards he sets for others. He does dress pretty well. I wonder if the Bulls give him a clothing credit or a sponsorship. |
