I grant you they have not won but two playoff series thus that strategy alone will not win it for you. My point is that he is an asset for a team and not a liability which has often been the portrayal of him. There are guys that score a lot of points that don't impact games in my opinion he is not one of them. He single handidly almost beat Boston in one of the playoff games last year and for that one game with no Stoudamire or Billups it almost worked. That is not enough but not of the other guys have been ever to Single handidly carry their teams to championships either. They all of had help where is his?

Of course he is an asset but I think it's a mistake to simply say he's the best player on the team so let's just get him the ball and then we'll win. It just hasn't happened. Lebron, Rose, Durant, and most other superstars don't win that way. Why does Goff seem to think the Knicks will doing it?

I think he can win a championship as the featured player on the team. He has never done it obviously but to criticize him for not being a player that you can just give the ball to and get the hell out the way to win a championship is stupid because a lot of players would not hold up to that standard.

He is a premier scorer and in my opinion one of the top 10 players in the league. He has been playing like it ever since they got rid of the coach that thought it was better for Lin and in earlier games Toney Douglas to take as many shots as Carmelo Anthony.
