Today is Thursday, and you know what that means...Gary from Evanston's favorite segment is front & center at 5p on the "Boers & Bernstein Show". Here's hoping a certain smug, S.O.B. of a pitching coach is among those that get crapped on this afternoon. Well before "WYC", the guys will continue to try and piece together what in the hell the White Sox are doing with Chris Sale, as well as Sox pitching coach Don Cooper's latest remarks this morning to the "Mully & Hanley in the Morning Show". You can bet Cooper will be cited for what he told Chris Rongey Friday before the Tigers' series in Detroit when news of Sale going to the bullpen became breaking news, as well as what he said on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio yesterday that seemed to contradict what he told Ranger on the White Sox Radio Network Friday during his regular segment. Might they also discuss the red hot play of 1B Bryan LaHair and the Cubs taking 2 out of 3 from the Braves as they get ready to start a weekend series tomorrow at Miller Park vs. the Brewers? You can bet Cubs' TV voice Len Kasper will be part of the mix this afternoon in his regular weekly segment, and at his regular time, I do believe...4p Thursday? There is also Bulls/Sixers' Game 6 in Philadelphia tonight, and the very real possibility of a Game 7 Saturday at United Center if the Bulls win tonight to even the series at 3-3. A great deal of talk about that game is sure to be front & center as well. Plus, the Heat finished off the bumbling, stumbling Knicks in Game 5 down in Miami and the Clippers might have lost more than Game 5 late last night to the Grizzlies in Memphis. Might they have also lost Blake Griffin & Chris Paul for Game 6 tomorrow night in Los Angeles, too? All that and who knows what else this afternoon between 1:15-ish & 6p, with no Sox interruptions. |
