It's the final day of Jason George Goff playing the role of Dan Bernstein on the "Boers & Bernstein Show". Needless to say, Goff & Terry Boers have a lot to discuss before Gary from Evanston's favorite segment come 5P this afternoon. Prior to this week's E-mail-free installment of "Who Ya Crappin'?", these are some of the things the guys might discuss:

*White Sox Sweep Yankees; Sale Strikes Out 13
*What Got Yankee Manager Joe Girardi Hot Under the Collar After the Game?
*Should MLB Toughen Drug Penalties In The Wake of Bartolo Colon's Suspension?
*More Bears' B.S. Regarding LB Brian Urlacher's Knee & SCORE Host Mike Mulligan's Report
*Ex-Penn State President Graham Spanier's Exclusive Interview w/ABC News' Josh Elliott; Issues w/Freeh Report

So far, since Bernsy left, there has not been one word about that scandal in (Un)Happy Valley, PA with Goff sitting in. It remains to be heard if the Spanier interview gets discussed today or when Laurence Holmes joins Boers tomorrow in New Lenox for the "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" live broadcast at Primetime.

Milwaukee is 57-66, while the Chicago National League Ballclub is now 47-76. Colorado, which visits Wrigley tomorrow, isn't much better. The Rockies are 49-73.

So a 10-game difference = the same ballclub

Ground-breaking stuff, SHARK.

SHARK always enjoys B&B. It is his lifeblood. He will listen to any story that must be told. He especially thrives on a red alert.

There's a term "B & B" always use.

The Cubs, Brewers, Rockies, Astros, Phillies, Mets, Blue Jays, Twins & Mariners are all...wait for it...

*3:30P: "The Second Half"
*4:20P: NASCAR's Tony "Smoke" Stewart-"Chase for the Cup" Preview @ Chicagoland Next Month
*4:40P: Cubs/Comcast SportsNet's Len Kasper-Sponsored by Budweiser: Rockies/Cubs' Weekend Preview
*5P: "Who Ya Crappin'?"-NO E-MAILS!

"Scoreboard Updates": Connor McKnight

The Chicago Bears Network-produced "Bears All Access" follows the guys @ 6P. Terry's "two favorite words" Laurence Holmes has a 3-hour nighttime SCORE starting @ 7P. Joe Ostrowski has the latenight SCORE @ 10P, leading into "SCORE Overnight" w/Les Grobstein & Adam Harris @ Midnight.

or call in and ask them to defend the attacks they've put on fans of the Cubs/Sox who were complaning about high ticket prices?

I'm thinking Dan particuarly was saying "if it's too expensive, don't go!" Well, people aren't going.

edit: Wow Terry, I love you but are you going to mock the fans that can't afford to go? REALLY?!! Now you're off the tracks. I may have to call in, and I'm not even a Sox fan.

So we're gonna do the "Why don't Sox fans go to games?" show for the 50th time this season? I'm going to stab myself in the eye with a meat thermometer for admitting this but, LoHo & Terry > Goff & Terry.

Interesting guy trying to argue the economics angle. Didn't a report come out that the WSOX and WCUB fans were statistically the same people? The guy is possibly right regarding the unemployment numbers. But what doesn't compute is if that is the case, and the WSOX and WCUB fan base are economically similar, how can the WCUB still draw well whilst the winning WSOX cannot?

My family is a group of Cubs fans, but I like to take my son to Sox games as well. Several times this year I would wake up on a Saturday morning and want to go to a game for whichever team was in town. I would log onto the team site for tickets, and then check Stubhub. The prices are out of control. I finally "splurged" for 4 bleacher seats in August to catch the Cubs and Reds. It turned into a $500 day when all is said and done. Now I have the means for this, but that is a lot of coin. To mock people for not having the money is elitist at best.

here's the difference, and since apparently they're going to go to another subject before the avalanche of callers brings their stupidity on this angle to full light, the Cubs have a different fan base. I'm a season ticket holder. Who do you think I sell the majority of my tickets to?

1. Out of town people coming for the ballpark
2. Out of town people coming for the other team (Mets, Yankees, RSox, Cardinals etc)
3. Actual in-town Cubs fans.

And number three is like, 3% of my sales. That's why the Cubs outdraw the Sox. Their initial fan base may have the same economic status (relatively) but the Cubs get more people to come because they have a bigger base to draw from, one that dwarfs the Sox.

I caught that one portion and Terry did an excellent job of being a puerile jackoff.

And the whole 'what effect does the Cubs being in the same city as the White Sox have' ... REALLY? If there had never been the Cubs I think there might be just a few more Sox fans by default. Any halfwit you find on the street could explain, or at least understand, that.

I'd just as soon he piss up a rope and chew on the wet end rather than try to be the faux Bernstein.

this has been a bad day for Terry fans. He's really indefensible on this one. When this college football crap that's on now gets done, they're going to have to resume defending themselves cause I bet there's a lot of people on hold wanting to chew them out.

They played a sampling of Jets' QB Tim Tebow from this morning's "Boomer & Carton Show" on WFAN SportsRadio & New York's MSG Network from Jets' Training Camp and plan on playing more sound coming up. It's still not gonna work!
