Ok, Drinky and Goff, I found your Score enemy that you can fight without any repercussions. It's a peer. He's dumb. And, you'll love this, he might be anti-semitic.

It's morning show producer, Dustin Roads.

Mac and Spiegs reported that he went on the air today outraged that the Sox game was moved to a day game for Yom Kippur. He said something like "DOES DIS MEAN DARE SHOULD BE NO GAMES ON EASTER SUNDAY FOR DA CHRISTIANS." I think he has a history of saying dumb stuff. I remember reading reports of dumb comments by him on this board. Maybe some of you can fill us in on that history.

Anyway, I have found Drink's and Goff's enemy. They need one. It's the morning show producer. Fighting him won't hurt them.

somebody (probably Mully) told him he needs a "thing". He decided to just pick the most ass backward view of any argument and just run with it like a mad man. I've never agreed with anything I've ever heard him say...

I believe he's the one who said Urlacher will not be voted into the HoF.

Mitch and Zim are Jewish, right?

If so then put Dustin with Goff in that dull knife drawer. Man, these producers are something else.

Unlike Easter Sunday, Yom Kippur has not been co-opted into a secular fun day. This producer is a fucking idiot.

Other hosts disguise their "contrarian for the sake of being contrarian" schtick, though.

When Dustin Rhoades got Rosh Hashanah off in grade school, did he say "WELL DEN I AIN'T GOIN TO SCHOOL ON ST. PATRICK'S DAY"?

I think you missed the best part of that little discussion. Jay Z implicated the J-ews as Jesus Killers. You could hear crickets in the background immediately following that little quote. Mitch and Zim must certainly be glad he didn't make a Mohamed reference or we would truly have a holy war on our hands Beardown.

Exact wording escapes me. They were joking about the differences between the importance of this day versus others...like Easter. They were commenting (as others have) that Easter is more a celebration, and Yom Kippur is more along the lines of Good Friday "you know, when the Jews killed Jesus"....silence.

Not exactly helping fight Bernstein's veiled allegations that hockey fans are Jew-hating idiots there, are you, Jay.

Spiegs then tried a cover technique by suggesting that they passed the buck to the Romans. Everyone kind of laughed it off.

Honestly, I wasn't particularly offended by any of it. Just stupid uninformed man talk about religions other than there own. For my money Akin still takes the cake for stupid statements. Although I do wish he were correct. The world would be a better place if womyn could flip that switch and in effect say "no baby for you"...

We all know that Goff. I expect him to find Dustin's comments and cue it up for his Bernstein. He loves giving Bernstein material so he can listen to Bernstein go Bernstein. Goff will toss in some of Borat's anti-semitic quotes to kick Dustin around as well.

Beardown's the worst and ruins the board but I would like to also pile on Dustin Roades as being terrible. Even has the meatball accent.

Actually, this war would be perfect for Drinky and Goff. They'd be stupid not to engage.

1. They can indirectly get back at Mully by attacking his producer.

2. They can earn points from Mitch and Zime for protecting their creed.

3. They can use Bernstein's show to fight where I don't think Mully would allow Dustin to retaliate on his show. So they have a sitting duck. Easy win when the enemy can't return fire.

actually, I will help feed into Beardown's demented nonsense in creating a Roades/Goff+Drinky feud because the M&H show is actually better produced.

B&B is a better show based on an overwhelming talent advantage, but the M&H show is definitely crisper plus has a better use of guests and callers.

On Bears Monday they let on a couple of Sox callers that were dismissed by the hosts, and then Drinky blamed them for wanting to talk Sox on a Bears day. Berns said 'well...you did put them on', and Drinky replied "well they're not forbidden from talking White Sox, but I guess they kind of are". Ultimately, sometimes what they try to pass off as edgy/irreverent is just a convenient way to say lazy.

And yes, I want more schticky intros. BRAD BIGGS TALKS FOOTBALL WITH YOUUUUUUUUU

Dustin Rhoades argued passionately last year that the NFL should not have started their season on September 11th.

I tend to listen to XM in the morning but the handful of times I catch M&H I can at least say they (I assume Dustin) play music that their target demo might actually listen to.

The B&B playlist which never changes appears to be a weird attempt by Jason to impress Bernstein with records his hip uncle gave him back in the day?

Dan Bernstein at a Toby Keith Bar..........hopefully Dan does his Tea Party voice to make fun of the rednecks he'll pretend to like for 5 hours.

I was wondering about that too.You know because its fun to say hillbilly, redneck, inbreed, when talking about a certain segment of the populace. Strangely enough , I dont remember any stereotypes of the local patronage / residents when they did their remote from whatever south side bar they were at last year.
