Wha!?

Sorry, dude! I was in New Jersey all last week and have been getting back into the flow of things.

It seems the realization that B&B is an awful radio show and not worth listening to is taking hold.

I bought Halo 4, it is awesome. CoD Black Ops II is for tomorrow and my time at the Bears game last night was the single most miserable sporting event experience of my life.

That is all.....for now.

It was equally as miserable to watch on TV. You're not alone.

So Dan acknowledges that "Marshall drops a lot of balls" and that "that's partially a function of targeting." You're two-thirds there!

:salut: @ Curious

As I said last week, post-Bears shows are the worst now because again, they (Dan more than Terry) fancy themselves actual sports experts so now they feel like they have to break down the games. Problem is, they've never been good at it.

Again, I liked the show better when they'd just talk about the goofy stuff that happened, have a laugh, make fun of a few meatball callers, and NOT TAKE THE SHIT SO SERIOUSLY!

I'm becoming SomeGuy. Fuck. :-x

believe it or not, if you joke with maddux boy or schmutzie on twitter, they're liable to do the same thing. before you know it @boers_bernstein and @dan_bernstein pop up in the conversation because they gotta let dear leader know that someone is cracking wise near the top of the fiefdom/tribe.

Correct me if I'm wrong(or if I'm being simple minded leashyourkids), but isn't Bernstein's stance on concussions that "As long as the players know the dangers, then I'm fine with it. I don't want the game changed"? Has this changed?

If so, who cares if the Bears and Cutler played out there with a concussion for a little while. He knows the dangers. One of the dangers is undiagnosed concussions.

That's one of the stupid and selfish things about Bernstein's stance. He cares about concussions, but not to the point where he would support actual rules that would make the game safer for concussions because it would change the game too much.

As far as I know, you are correct about Bernstein's stance. I just think he cares more when it's the team he roots for. He is a meatball, after all. He just hates himself for it.

You're just coming to the realization of some stark and brutal truths. The show has been in terminal decline for several years now and there is no stopping it, the inertia just too much to overcome. I used to be a long time guy but now I'm a no time guy.

BernSTINE's vanity has caused him to morph the show into something it's not and can never be. His drive to shove his flimsy intellectualism into the show has totally failed and in turn it has ruined the show. The more he tries to lecture the listener and flash his fraudulent mental credentials at us the more he exposed himself to be an over compensating simpleton, albeit one with a microphone.

He's like a police officer that uses this badge to overcome and compensate/get revenge for his abusive formative years.

whenever they get to NBA talk, I'd like to hear their opinions on D'Antonio. I still think the Lakers could make the finals and win it, so I wonder if you'll hear some "can't win a championship with D'Antonio" talk...

Trying to create a controversy where one doesn't exist. What a ridiculous column by Bernstein.

How are you supposed to speak with gravitas about a concussion when the guy is still in the game? If you started keening like an Irish widow, "oh, his brain, his precious, precious brain" after every play where a guy took contact to the head or got his head jostled around, you'd never be able to say anything else.

:) we shall see...IF they all stay healthy, I see them upending the Thunder en route to a matchup with the Heat.
