A couple of the calls they've taken today were callers trolling Bernstein. The Tebow one was for sure to get Bernsy all hot and bothered.

I wish people would stop wasting their time on Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden, Brian Billick and other high-profile names that might want to return to coaching, especially here. When Lovie Smith does get his walking papers as head coach, the Bears won't get any of the big names. They're going to want a lot of $$$$ & authority the McCaskeys aren't all that interested in offering, let alone paying. As SCORE original Doug Buffone always says, "STOP YOURSELF!"

If Bears' history means anything, even if the Bears don't make the NFL Playoffs, there will be some hot coordinator the Bears will be more interested in hiring as their next head coach than proven winners like Cowher, Gruden & Billick. Why do you think Lovie got the job anyway back in 2004? Ditto for Dave Wannstedt & Dick Jauron in the '90s. Chew on all that for a while.

I listened to about 45 minutes of the show. It wasn't good.
