Not sure if you are joking or not. The Score gave Telander a show several years ago and it didn't go very well.

Nope, Score. Then he quit on the air, afternoons fell apart with some sort of Buffone/Mulligan/Hood show, J. Hood ruined his career by having been such a dick to Telander, and Our Heroes were moved from middays.

Oh, that's right! I knew Hood was him and ruined his career, I just forgot the station.

Poor J. Hood, he had the world on a string, sitting on a rainbow....only to get totally fucked over by bad management and himself.

Now he's a washed up, never-was, fat, gay and doomed.

Well, he is fat.

Maybe not washed up, but I dunno, what if he didn't ruin his own career on the Telendar show? Where would he be? Probably in a much, much better position than he is now.

Hood being fat has nothing to do with him being washed up. If he were skinny he'd be washed up. For christ sake, he was bad when he started. He was just another example of a Score producer getting air shifts cuz they're cheap. Nothing more. Nothing less. That's how the Score works.

But Hood is huge. Like dangerous fat. I remember seeing him on that Comcast talk show. He was wearing jeans and I swear to God his thighs were about to bust the jeans. I felt sorry for the jeans. Hood is a heart attack waiting to happen.

Does anyone remember when JHood was hosting a late night wrestling show and a caller dropped a certain word on JHood for defending Booker-T?

But Hood was right about Telander. Rick was awful & Hood hated working with him. I remember the day that he quit on air. It was something. I'm a big fan of J. Hood & would love to hear him on the Score again.

Incorrect. Jay was given the night shift at the Score and really ran with it. His post game shows were sufficiently good and attracted enough listeners that the flag ship station threatened to sue if he used their team name on the air. He worked his way up to a well earned afternoon shift with his name on the marquee. After a few months and good ratings, management decided it needed to add Telander, who sucked from day 1.

Mac and Speigs fill in the drive home shift might of been a test to see how they fared against ESPN 1000 as well. Since Mac "came home" to the Score, I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering when will Mac get a shot to go head-to-head against his old show.

Bernsie's contract is up, but that doesn't mean he's going anywhere. I doubt he'll be as stupid as North was with demands of billboards, employing his drinking buddies, and what not.

I think he means Elmhurst Steve's prediction in OP that "it would be nice to see Mac switched to afternoons and a new morning show installed".

But maybe Dan is looking for new paper, as well. Bargaining from the position of "just got crotch-kicked back to middays" is going to be a sonofabitch.

It was bumped because it is 6 years later and Beerstain is still employed.
