If it ain't Penn State, it's football brains that ain't great.

Some will listen; many more will comment ... not sure how that works, but m'eh.

SHARK will properly outline the show, and you'll damn well like it. For now, a needless reminder of WYC at about 5:04pm.

Idiot callers, aggrivated hosts, stupid bored members, Woodridge Ryan unapproved one-liners, SomeGuy's predictable assessments, and a near-constant temptation for many of us to consider Gary Meier or Pandora.

Listen, or don't. Nobody cares. All is vanity. Coke is better than Pepsi, unless you're eating pizza. Don't trust whitey.

So Don are you a fan or not?? I still think both guys are very funny but sports thoughts are much like Letterman's monolougues. Same jokes and referring to a preshow inside joke with a random audience member every frickin' night,TIRED!

I "love" B&B as much as most anything.

They have, though, inarguably changed the focus of their show insofar as they will discuss things only as they want to, with little to no variation except for if a guest wants to cut against the grain - then they allow a wide berth, even when said guest flies in the face of their stated opinion(s).

Also, you couldn't be more accurate with Letterman. The last few years he's been more or less a hack. If he's not sitting on some political pedestal, he's making fat jokes about Chris Christie.

There are those that will recoil in horror, but I contend that often times there's little entertainment gain from Letterman vs Leno .... most of it depends on whose guests are better (Letterman wins in a tie because then I don't forget to turn on Craig Ferguson, who is the king of kings at present).

But anyway, I would unquestionably count myself in the fan section of B&B ... just sometimes this crabby fucker doesn't want to listen to histrionic crabby fuckers on the radio.

KI's right - still the best show in town. Anyone saying otherwise is probably more interested in grinding an axe than actually arguing their point.

Correct.

In point of fact, though, uh, The Mac and Speigs Show is the best show in town.

I'm sure SomeGuy will give us a rundown of everything that goes on during today's show.

The best B&B Show is better than the best Silvaddle Show.

But Silvaddle is consistently more entertaining.

I see what you're saying, I'm just not there yet. Long time Silvy & Waddle guy, btw. One of the few people on the board who actually digs Waddle, it seems...

They will overtake B&B at this pace very soon. If anyone at 1000 has half a brain, they move them to drive time fast....

That's what I always said about MJH vs B+B. MJH was a floor show and BB was a ceiling show.

I'm a Waddle fan as well, he is one of the few guys that can mind his "manners" on air with regards to criticisms of athletes and such yet still be good at his job and keep me listening. Silvy is really good as well.

As you said, wrong time slut.

You forgot to add the "pithy" emails that tingle Bernstine's gonads while he reads aloud with full dramatic effect.

They should trade time slots, but management in Bristol, CT won't.

I just want to say that Dan is right that coconut water is vile and you never get the wretched taste out of your mouth. What a mistake.
