Emery was a real "BOOB" and another "Angelo in the making."

BernSTINE had a lot laughs and ridicule at Emery's expense. But now he is a genius, a once in a generation orator and if you think otherwise you are an idiot and a dope.

Funny that an idiot and a dope is what Our Boyz thought of Emery at the beginning.

Yeah I didn't listen when the Cubs acquired Theo but its hard to imagine the water carrying was ingrained this much with him. You can literally alter Bernstein's mood by merely suggesting you don't think Emery is a good GM. It's really hard to believe.

I truly think it boils done to metrics. He loves Theo over the top because of the SABR metrics angle. In Emery's he mentioned he considers those companies that do the same metrics for football. That was the point at which Bernsie could no longer control himself. If tomorrow Hawk said he has completely switched over to thinking SABR only he would be built a shrine by Dan.

True but Dan also defers to the opinion of anyone with an elite degree irrespective of the subject. He is the guy who questions an advertisement until they support it with 4 out of 5 doctors.
