Outstanding! I sat in the car for 20 minutes listening to them. That's talking baseball.

That was a good listen. Coop climbed out of the Oscar the Grouch trash can.

Agree with all. This was really good sports talk radio this morning. Bosio and Coop were a good interview - both in studio as well.

I'd like to hear more things like this on The Score. It's worth hitting up the podcast if you didn't hear it earlier.

Bosio on now with M & H. Sounds like he got 2 hours sleep (probably 1).

Actual question...

Mully: "How special was that game for Kluber?"

 bernstein seemed to be amazed as well. Sox fans know that it wasn't some freakish occurrence. We've seen Kluber have stuff like that against the Sox on enough occasions.

Not sure how you can expect all of baseball to be intimately familiar with a guy just because the thousand or so people you mention ostensibly knew of Kluber's prowess.

Batting average?

Otherwise don't see how Sox outhit the Cubs who batted a pitcher for 85% of their games.

Yeah, batting average. And it's certainly fair to consider the fact that pitchers bat in the NL, but that's a factor that also has to be considered when declaring the Cubs pitching staff the "greatest".

I don't believe I ever typed "dominant". And do I really need to explain to you how batting average works?

Batting Average doesn't work for anybody other than yourself and Hawk.

If your justification for suggesting the White Sox hit better than the Cubs is purely resting on Batting Average ... well, you are to baseball thoughts what chas is to the English language.

Batting average "works" for everyone. It's an actual number based on hits and at-bats. Batting average tells you who hit better. It doesn't tell you who walked better. It doesn't tell you who had more power. And I never said the Sox walked more or had more power. Maybe you should worry about your own grasp of English rather than Chas'.

Sounds pretty straight forward there.

Who said it didn't?

And a major component of OBP is hitting, which I was just advised didn't matter to anyone but Hawk and me.
