I'm glad Mulligan has one fan....he's all yours.

As much as I dislike the M&H show....getting a sidekick for Larry has to be priority #1. The morning show can tread water and be the next problem to solve. I haven't heard Leila, but I'm good with Kelly Krull. I feel sorry for whoever the woman is that gets paired to a do a show with Larry.

I don't know why you would pair a woman up with Sir. That is just asking for a lawsuit.

They got rid of the wrong guy. As bad as Haugh is, him and Hanley probably would have put together a decent show. In fact, Hanley was noticeably better every single time Mully was out.

You've also confused Christian Science with Scientology.

Nah . . . wait, which one is the one where they are always conspiring and shit against everyone?

Diversity. MeToo. More women needed on the roster and they aready know Julie sucks ass.

Hanley & Haugh would have been just a god-awful snoozefest and Hanley just happened to be the unlucky one who's contract is up.
Why this station can't seem to understand Morning drive is really a life mystery. Good Grief.

This thread is taking a nasty turn....is Mulli being phased out?!?!? Try-outs?? When does his contract end?

A lot of women and feminine men in media do that.

They should stop.

I first noticed this on NPR (and yes, mostly among women) and it seems to have grown from there. The idea must be that "Soooooo..." is more authoritative than starting with "uhhh" or "wellll" when you're not quite sure how you're going to put your sentence together. It's Vocal Fry Part II. Expect an episode of This American Life where women journalists talk about how they're made fun of for starting sentences with "Soooooo..." and how unfair it is.

Scientology is the one with the aliens and the litigious leadership. Christian Scientists are mostly just eccentric New Englanders who don't see the doctor.

decastro saw no dip in ratings when he got rid of hanley for the cheaper haugh.... maybe he'd roll the dice on getting rid of mullly.... with the assumption that as long as the two hosts just talk sports... the show's ratings will be fine because apparently that's all chicago wants in the early AM

eventually it will just be a robot or a series of tannahill curated drops so they can maximize morning show profits

Or speak with enough up-speak that they don't even need to say "right?"

I'm reeeeely hoping Kap is too busy with the Cubs network to pollute the Score airwaves. I tried listening to him for a week and Good God. Cheesy McCheese.

I'll take Laurence over Kap.

As annoying M & H are, it's still the best show on the score. Fast paced, interviews, no sjw bs, no seemingly endless monologues, no Parkins or Speigel.

What's weird is that I have not heard anyone say that Mulli is on vacation. I keep hearing - "in for Mulli"

maybe I should start worring

I think MANY are reading into this too much. Mully's kids are probably on Spring Break, which is likely why he took this week off.

For the love of God. We are at a point in today's society when a hardworking husband and father can't take a week off without alarm bells going off? The big story here is that Brian Hanley has been all but forgotten.

Don't confuse activity with accomplishment.
Hard working?.....whatever. He's bad at radio and bad at speaking. It's fine he's on vacation, but forgive me and few others for wishfully thinking we could somehow get a better morning drive show.

Respectfully, no argument from me, my friend. My post was neither a for or against stance on Mulli or anyone in particular for that matter. It was a general statement regarding today's workplace in general. It seems like a guy can't take a week off anymore without some kind of grief. Intrusive and annoying texts, phone calls, emails, etc. seems to be the rule not exception anymore. Truth be told, I agree with many of the valid criticisms of Mulli, wdelaney72.
