I can’t stand mulli screaming all the time. Every guest appearance ends in him screaming ‘Alrighty!’. I have no idea how anyone can listen to his boring ass. If he was a neighbor I’d never want to talk sports with him. He’s almost as bad as listening to Steiger change his voice for the last 5 words in every other sentence. Seriously, I used to listen to the Score from sun-up to sundown but can’t stand it anymore.

Thing is, it's the best show on the station by an immeasurable margin.

Haugh almost in tears this morning that Contreras might have to settle for 9 milllion a year. What an idiot.

Havn't listened to this show in months. Hood and Cap are light years better then the shit show on MVP.

5@5 has become more centered on transparency, clarity, and heaping mandated adulation. But, it's still probably the Score's best segment a lot due to comedy by topic restraints, pc bs, and a little by some actual sports talk.

The 7 am start time is problematic

Honestly, it's the best show on the station and that's not saying much. I listened to Spiegs and Parkins for a little while a couple days ago and it's two people with nothing interesting to say. It's like they take the least controversial stance on everything and just drone on about that for hours and hours. They have no special insights or quirky personality that keeps you entertained.

I'm starting to like Bernstein (minus Leila) - Mulli & Haugh transition. M & H are like deer in the headlights as prick Bernstein steamrolls, or one-ups anything they have to say. All his views are superior. M & H seem to just want the segment to end. Waiting for one to say "I'm a good doggie".

Wasn't Mully the guy who refused to do transition for a while?

Bernstein is kind of like Ric Flair at this point, just a guy living his gimmick, incredibly evident that Uncle Terry carried him for years, the guy keeps his gig while going through partner after partner, at what point is he accountable?

At this point he is like the guy working at the last operational Pony Express stop, just trying to hand on as long as he can, one would think he would try to do some type of soy boy podcast, but he surely has explored that option and was told his only listeners would be Mitch Rosen, Larry Holmes, and Danny Parkins, his current show appeals to a very limited audience.

This is true....yet the show still sucks ass.

I don't know why I keep turning this show on my way dropping off my daughter at school. I hate it. I can't stand listening to them constantly defending Justin Fields and Patrick Williams and can't articulate why other than they're young.

Mulli today went down the list of all the pro Chicago sports team owners one by one and said for each "we know he wants to win". Half the listeners like me had to flip the channel. The station has zero integrity and or credibility.

Have always found the stations hapless defense of the McKaskey family annoying, it prevents any actual discussion of the failings of the Bears because they will not acknowledge the woeful ineptness of Bears ownership.

Do not think the afternoon show hosts know enough about anything to form cogent opinions, especially when it comes to anything football related, and the mid day show...well that nothing really needs to be said about how pathetic the middle of the day has become for the station as that time slot has devolved from the often entertaining Monsters to the hours of tedium we have today, but Mully and Haugh should know better, they just choose to mail it in most days.

David Haugh is a problem. Too bland and dull. Almost like Zaidman.

He also can't talk. He pauses often thinking about what he wants to say next so the sentence makes sense, and then it ends up not making sense.

Seems like a real nice guy though.

He comes off like Abraham Lincoln next to Mulli and Hanley. I'm amazed those two guys have been employed as long as they have in radio.

He also has a lisp, which is unfortunate but should probably be disqualifying for an AM radio host.

Always found it interesting how arrogant the sportswriter types used to be back in the day.

Guys like Telander or Haugh would come on as guests and act like they were way smarter than the listeners.

Some of my favorite moments were when guys like North or Hood would challenge the genius sportswriters to defend their takes on air, it made for some awkward and entertaining radio, unmasked the fact that the sportswriters were actually just repeating what the teams wanted them to say and that they really knew next to nothing about the sport or team they were covering.

The sportswriter types were usually shocked by this because they never actually talked with anyone that might have a different opinion than they did.

Unfortunately, the current on air talent roster all think the same way as the sportswriters used to think, but there are no alternative voices allowed on air to actually disagree and move the conversation forward.

Now you get the hosts only interacting with hand picked "experts" who are in lock step with them on everything.

I have never noticed it. I have noticed he says the phrase "if you will" a minimum of 5 times per segment.

Classic apologist David Haugh talking with Tom Thayer about Joseph Ossai's crucial penalty making him out to be a victim. Haugh said "I saw his postgame press conference. You have to feel for the young man". Thayer came back with "I don't see it that way. He's been taught not to do that his whole football career even as a kid". I've noticed Haugh moves on immediately to another subject when guests shoot down his apologist points of view.

mully is out and haugh takes the lead today. This really exposes his lack of talent. I may not like the product of other shows at the station but Haugh is the person with the least ability.

I was never a Hanley fan. He was a rare hockey guy at the score but as a radio guy overall he brought nothing to the table. Haugh is a good #2 guy. Every once in a while they show their woke side but in general they stay away from that shit. Clearly the best show on the score. Parkins, Spiegs, Bernstein, and Larry are condescending assholes

Haugh doesn't have a personality. Even a bad personality is better than none at all.
