Mully: I'm sure there will be a lot of "wining".

Not awful for him. If another host said it in passing you wouldnt think it was too bad.

To be clear: This is usually the best case scenario of a Hanley joke. 1 1/2 Hanleys

He'll never say anything that isnt at least 1 and a half.

Idiot producer/wannabe on-air producer jackass Rhodes: Tebow is MVP

Screamy: Oh no

Punny: haha

Screamy: Oh, Greg Couch and Greg Doyle wrote that so it must be true

Punny: Hahahaha, yah, Greg Doyle wrote it...Greg Couch wrote it....Forrest Greg wrote, well he has Alzheimer's so he doesn't remember what he wrote.

WHERE DOES THIS RANK ON THE SCALE AND HOW DO I GET CERTIFIED TO JUDGE THAT SCALE?

Its a two Hanley joke but he gets the extra one for taking three steps to get to his terrible joke

Greg Couch....Greg Doyle...Forrest Gregg

Way to poke fun at alzheimers too.

Forrest Gregg has a legitimate medical condition that causes him to not make sense sometimes

what's your excuse Hanley?

Right out of the Box....First thing he said this morning

Mully: So the Cubs traded for Ian Stewart

Hanley: I thought it was Rod Stewart

Mully:

Hanley: He sounds like a NASCAR driver doesnt he

Mully: Yeah (Now doing a british accent for some reason) And Ian Stewart is coming around the bend!!!

Im starting to think Mulligan has no control over these European takeovers of his voice.

The Joke gets a single Hanley because he resisted the urge to recite Rod Stewart lyrics.

The odd Euro Nascar announcer gets: 3 1/2 Mulligans

They're not even making their bad jokes correctly. If his name was Billy Joe Cobb, that would sound like NASCAR driver. Ian Stewart is obviously a Formula One name. That's probably why the accent came in, but it clearly didn't work exactly right.

Plus, Hanley should have referenced piano player/road manager Ian Stewart rather than Rod, but he probably doesn't know who he was even though it's probably likely that Mully blew a fattie while listening to "Boogie With Stu" in a Camaro back when he was at Brother Rice. The man is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for God's sake! He's no more obscure than Zoilo Versalles.

Thank goodness we go the inside scoop of the Army-Navy game this morning. These guys really have their finger on the pulse of Chicago

Listening to Hanley slowly ramp into an awful joke is quite a thing, it's like you can hear the corn-filled gears in his whirling as he attempts to link someone's name to another, unfunny thing.

Need a ruling -

Mully - Don't they need to make a decision on Forte soon, with the franchise tag, I think it's February 20th, isn't that President's Day....

Hanley - It's all about the Benjamins....

That's especially bad. Benjamin Franklin wasn't even a president.

I just heard Mully call Lin the Yellow Mamba. It didn't even get 1/2 a Hanley. Uh oh, I might be in trouble on that one.

To be fair, I think he was just referencing a sign at a recent Knicks game. But this reminded me of something from that converation I wanted to submit to be judged on the Hanley scale:

Mully: The Yellow Mamba
Hanley: So you got the Yellow, Black, White...Why isn't Scal the Red Mamba?
Mully: The Ginger Mamba?
Hanley: The Ginger Mary-Ann?
Mully:
Hanley:
Mully:

I seriously hope that Mully and/or Hanley have been sent the link to this thread, and they've read it. And felt shame. Seriously, how the F can you continue this ridiculous routine when you read the epic mocking done in this thread?

Kudos to you guys, awesome thread. Screw you to Mully and Hanley, your show has reached Mike North "I just can't listen to this crap anymore" levels.

Hanley; "Just keep her (Brandon Marshall's wife) away from the Cutlery."

Which rating means you would punch Hanley in the throat?
