Just a way better show with Rozner and Hanley. Less yelling, better interview questions, and Hanley seems more comfortable. I enjoy Mulligan's columns, but the radio show is a hard listen.

This morning Hanley was about to send it to Bonnie Greene for traffic, but then he started talking about how the Bulls were 1-4 in the summer league, including a 113-68 loss to Milwaukee. Then he starts to talk about how the future looks bleak.

Hey Mr. Basketball, the future for the Bulls does look bleak but not because of some meaningless summer league performance. Shit, 70% those guys are going to be in the D-League this fall anyway so who the fuck gives a shit about a summer league blowout? Hell, Tyrus Thomas KILLED in the summer league in 2009. Doesn't really prove much.

Have we really fallen this far in our basketball perspective where people are actually using summer league outcomes as a gauge for future regular season success? Really?

I dont think Hanley really thinks the summer league is indicative of anything. He was just taking the rare chance to talk (While Mulligan drinks his coffee that he has to brew himself) and says whatever comes in his mind



Of all the things to say about Hanley, I dont think he's a bad analyst of sports.

He's certainly not good either. I don't find him to be useful at almost anything.
