Yesterday Hanley went a little Bernstein & stated that Steve Sax was seen canoodling in the dugout with a local media member back when he was with the White Sox (early 90's). Anyone know to whom he was referring?

When the Tribune company owned the Cubs there was no intent on winning. It was a TV show. They said it when they bought it....but as a kid when you say a NAME PLAYER, you think thats a great ....now we know better....at least some of us....one guy loves those guys still and he still might run the Sox....at least he thinks he does, they arent sure.

The problem with Gaetti was they brought him back the next year.

Agreed. Even on a one year deal. Older guys getting a little break is a huge for them. No doubt it pays off down the stretch....think it is good for all of them, but older guys especially...it is something Maddon seems to focus upon.
