Calls in and answers Hubs question about why the media isnt allowed to do much reporting from Bears camp.

Paul says he understands why the Bears are not loving the media due to the negative angle they take and just try to stir the pot.

Hub got about as angry as I have ever heard him. Guessing he was trying to dump the caller, but didnt have access to such button.

....they actually allowed him to talk a little longer....

So Hanley asked 'Tell me who does this"

they went to commercials......come back, Hanley says they have a number of texts about the issue.

Hub then says "Lets be honest, we have a ton of texts of Dan and Terry"

Hub went on to tell us how great Dan and Terry are when they like something...blah blah blah...

Too bad Hub didnt actually address the issue of Dan making shit up to cause issues and gain attention....which is what they know is bein said....

Just shows proof exists at this point that the Danny Bullshit has extended to the WSCR basis .

i still like to listen to angry negative hub.... but he is a relic from a previous generation of football reporting. his magazine folded because he expected 40% of users to pay for his app.... 98% ended up going with the free version

Hub absolutely blew it.

Before it went under, I looked at what Hub was charging for his publication on the internet? Forget what it was, doesn't matter. Charging? In the internet age where we can get all the shit for free? What a dumb ass. Florio started his site like 10 years ago. Had hub given PFW away for free at that time he would have gotten the jump on Florio since he was known and Florio wasn't. The ad rates would have been huge. More than making up for the subscriptions. Plus the cost of publishing the old fashion way.

He should have changed the name to "Pro football Daily" and done what Florio did. Pro football Weekly in the internet era? Weekly? :lol:

Hub could have been the guy on NBC Pre and post had he done it right.

The most valuable thing Hub owned was the phone number (1-800-FOOTBALL), which he had for decades. Not sure if he ended up finally selling it in distress.

I loved when North would rip Hub on the Dick Jauron show (aka, the "I'm on that show, but it's not my show.")
