Post subject:  Unlistenable Show
Today by 5:20 a.m. there was 10 minutes of talking followed by 10 minutes of commercials. Why do these producers and update guys have to talk all the time? I could care less what they have to say. If they were any good they would have their own show, right? Jay Polock is especially annoying. He sounds like he didn't even finish high school.

And how many G.D. promotional ads do you have to run Score producers? Ads, ads and more ads.

I can only listen to this show when Mully is off. He talks over everyone and never has anything interesting to say.

Wish they would bring back Murph and Fred.

I respect Mulli probably the most among the Score hosts. He's not a clown liberal like B&B are, who have to inject their political opinions into everything. It's the structure of the show and the excessive advertisements I can't stand.

Hanley, on the other hand, sounds like he's half asleep most of the time, which is understandable for that time slot. I think he's there just to be Mulli's "Yes man".

Terry is only a "liberal" because it's easier for him not to argue with bernstein. I'm guessing he has a Confederate flag in his home. Possibly a few slaves too.

One of the biggest complaints about Goff is his incessant giggling. If you are one if those making that complaint about Goff but like this piece of crap show, Mulligan specifically, what the hell is wrong with you?

Yeah, your first paragraph is ridiculous. My beef isn't with their political opinions.

Mully and Hanley are probably two of the most bland personalities on the Score, but their show is by far the most prepared and they both did actual reporting. Their guests are the best. And they talk about actual, contemporary sports.

The midday show is, to me, completely unlistenable. I usually try to tune in for the Pope Maddon interview, but even that is terrible because the entire interview is screaming/slapping/laughing and the most long-winded questions that aren't really questions I've ever heard (Mully and Hanley are also bad about the questions). They rarely talk about sports, other than their favorite players from their childhood and who their favorite runningback on Tecmo Bowl was.

The afternoon show by far has the most talented hosts, but it has jumped the shark as has been discussed many times on here. I simply don't care about rape trials (guess that means I'm pro-rape). I don't mind the yelling at callers or the "know-it-all" schtick, but it's gone far beyond that. It's not really even a sports talk show.

M & H are my guys!

I don't know why one wouldn't like Brad Biggs. He's the best Bears reporter in town.

The other two are on all three shows, and one of them is probably mandated by management.

Paul Heyman and Peter Gammons are on weekly during baseball season, and they're good.

They're taking a huge hit with no Pick 5 with 55 this season :cry:

Probably true. When Dan wanted to "wall-in" the entire South a few days back, Terry didn't exactly give the notion his approval. Rather he gave us his nervous laugh, as he does to most of Dan's libtard ramblings.

Maybe you would have a point if baseball weren't dead, but it is. Been dead since mid 2000s after the '05 White Sox and when Roger Clemens and Pedro Martinez ended their careers. No personalities left in the game anymore, though Joe Madden is a good guy and I like him.

Certainly better than B & B's segment with Billick where he grunts through the interview and talks about how great the Bears are so he can get it over with quickly enough to catch a nap.

I like the show but I agree their programming is awful in the first hour. That 5 for 5 crap is something you'd expect out of college radio.

30 minutes into the show, i want to hear what the host and co-host have to say. I can care less what those other jerkoffs think. Relegate that shitty segment to 830.

I am sure I will be in the minority here, but find the show much more enjoyable when Hanley is left to drive the show with a "guest" host. Yelly with a guest host is the most unbearable listen a person can have on the Score. :?
