The shitty thing about Friday's show was I expected them to talk more about the opening game. There was a lot to talk about. Instead, they spent more time on Goodell. Who cares? You just had the game on last night that everyone was waiting for for eight months and you don't talk about it. Sorry, the producers---whoever was responsible for putting that show together---failed to keep the attention of the listeners, which is only what matters. I turned it off annoyed. |

I was originally on board with the Hanley scale but of late I've come to the conclusion that too much Yelly is not good. Whether the first hour or the final hour the only difference is that Yelly's energy level drops, which is not good. This past week whenever I hear them it seems to be Yelly in mid-paragraph/sentence with verbal sounds coming out of his mouth. Hanley will interject here and there--usually as Mully is inhaling air--and at least give me (the listener) some type of clue as to what Yelly is saying. Which, unfortunately, is Yelly's cue to go back to whatever it is he thinks he is saying. Forty seconds of Yelly, five seconds of Hanley, and then another forty seconds of Yelly. Yes, they have the best of guests (by far) but there's only so much Yelly that I can hear before I have to ask "what the fuck is he saying?" Sad that I can appreciate Hanley because I hear so little of him and what he has to say is vital to understand the what of Yelly. |

The show is flawed but tolerable. My biggest gripes: 1) Hanley has dumb little quips that only he thinks are funny. 2) They second guess way too much. This is the nature of sports talk radio, but many decision are made in the moment. Too many of these guys make statements based on the results not on the decision making process before the play was called. 3) Long winded questions that are answered by the host. I still listen. |

I have it on in the background if Mike & Mike has someone on who I can't stand (Ditka, Mr. Fall Guy, or Golic). Then I hear one of Mully's attempts at a question (as seen below in .gif form), scream and change Tune-In to WGN.

It's not a great show or even a really good one. It's just that the hosts don't treat callers and listeners with contempt or condescension. That's refreshing because it's such an anomaly at this current WSCR. It makes Mully and Hanley look better than they are. |

I heard Screamy this morning say the 2016 Bears schedule will yield at least 3-4 more wins. He cited the NFC East being on said schedule, which is a shit division. The same NFC East that had a team come into your house and win this year. I'm sure none of those teams will improve in the offseason either. |
