I doubt the Busch family or AB generally gets embarrassed about much. Of all the companies in the beer and distilled spirits industries, AB, BY FAR, has been the most difficult to work with on drunk driving issues. They have had a long history of not just opposing DUI legislation, but being involved in hiring third-party PR scum who smears public safety advocates whom they consider their "opponents". They will publicly tout their relatively trivial PR forays into "responsible drinking", but behind the scenes, they work to snuff out serious advocates and also to advertise their product in publications they know have majority teenager readership. Embarrassed? AB? Hardly. |
