Has anyone else noticed the number and quality of the phone calls this show gets has improved? A good number of them are from out of state as well. Are they real or plants from the new management group trying to prop up Frick and Frack until they figure out what to do with them.

Every show in the city could have “high quality” calls if they (a) genuinely encouraged it and (b) did a better job screening.

not really true. Who has time to call radio stations and sit on hold?

Unemployed people.

Why are they unemployed? Well, they have time to call sports talk radio AND they think it's worthwhile....

Plenty of national shows have very good calls.

The unemployment thing is a non-starter. Is it fair to reason that everyone with 20,000 plus posts on this message board is unemployed ? Of course not. So, shut the fuck up

When was the last time any of us actually called in to one of the Score shows? I may have called in to Murphy on a Saturday maybe 20-22 years ago. I don't think that I've even texted the station since 2005.

Good point. If they were high quality they would post their thoughts on a message board.

I don't think that's possible.

I gave up that other handle awhile back. There was really only a brief overlap that had more to do with my incompetence than any type of malice or nefarious type of intentions

I only called into a show once, and that was when Les used to do a summer 6-10pm Saturday night show, and I had stopped to get gasoline and called from my cell phone about some Cubs point and Les went off on a tangent and never answered my question. I think that may have even preceded the Score, since the last time I owned a sedan was 2000.
