Wow. I was secants away from posting this myself but in the more appropriate B&B section.

I'm tuning in. I listened to B&B pretty regularly actually, sometimes for 15-20 minutes at a time, maybe once or twice a week. So, they aren't new to me. I even get their inside jokes, some of them, like the "by cracky" thing.

When MJH's demise was announced, part of me thought "well, I listen to B&B sometimes. Maybe it won't be that bad." However, tuning in now, realizing that this is about all I've got changes my perspective. Now, I am realizing that, in time, I will have the same problems with B&B that I had years ago when I went away from them.

I think that, over time, I still won't be able to handle this show. Which is too bad, because I want to and do enjoy it often. But, I'm thinking this is one of those "too much of something is bad" type situations.

Beat me to it TM. I was going to ask if there has ever been a good B&B thread.

I was hoping it was because it'd be kind of odd for a fan of a couple of edgy, free-thinking iconoclasts like B&B to try and dictate what can and cannot be said about them.

We're such edgy, free-thinking iconoclasts that we realize the need for others to think, act and talk exactly like us so that we will one day have radio utopia...

hmm...well, 10 years of time. Between work and more work, perhaps 8 years of attended college...work always came first because I wanted to come out of school with zero debt. I'd do it again if I had the choice, but it was a trail of tears and little sleep until it was done. I remember fixing a hoist and being late by 5 minutes to class for the final exam (one of two total exams in an exam only class) only to find out that some fool had turned in his exam in 4 minutes and I could no longer take the exam (teacher's rule). That was a tough day...

holy shit. i just recently stopped having that dream. you actually experienced it?
oh my.

I decided after freshman year (got cancer, took a year off) that I wasn't going to bust my ass for anyone or anything. so, 12 hours a semester for me (or 3 classes) and try to make the music thing happen at the same time. I got the degree....still waiting for the music thing.

I must say that I didn't think for a second people who liked MJH would be leaving en masse for Boers and Bernstein. It's like the Hatfields and McCoys (although I usually switch over during commercial breaks from one to the other.)

IB. Many of us listened to the Heavy Fuel Crew. I realized that I am a Michael Jordan fan and not that great of a Bulls fan. Nowadays, I'm a Derrick Rose fan, but still not that much of a Bulls fan. Some might call that fair-weather. Some may call it the short white guy who never played basketball factor.
I prefer to call it not wasting my time with an average product.

I too started listening to B&B more b/c of the clocks being different. I like B&B. I always have. I do not like the way (or the why) they treat some callers.
