The marijuana found on Harry's person now has me thinking they will, indeed, fire him. I think it will be ordered from Bristol. Not from the management at ESPN 1000.

I say they give it to JD. He's been a loyal ESPN soldier, doing the Bears beat for quite some time now. He's well spoken, intelligent, clean cut, god fearing and the type that all fathers would want their daughters to marry. He's safe. The anti Harry. Exactly what ESPN wants.

Either that or they save money and just leave it to Carm and Jurko.

After Mitch gives the Jason Goff the permanet spot on the Goff Show with Daniel Mac, Speigs will quit in protest and join the Afternoon Salon.

Goffer and Mac will then move to the afternoon drive spot to crush his former protege.

We'll see but in the meantime this is my favorite tidbit from the latest news...

'He then asked twice if he could contact Skokie’s mayor, the report stated'

Hey Mr. Mayor, Harry here !

Post subject:  Re: Who replaces Harry?

Put me down that thinks Harry will be gone and probably from the higher ups at ESPN, since Harry told the cop he works for Disney, almost sounds like he tried to pull, Do you know who I am.

If 1000, decides to stick with 3, I would go with Dickerson also, and my shocker would be Waddle and put somebody else with Silvy, maybe JD there.

If I am the mayor and somebody's calling me that late for this, I would say screw off and tell the cop execute them and make it look like self defense.

One thing is for damn sure, ESPN 1000 will not hire any of the Score's backups. No way. Their kind is not what ESPN wants.

Speigs is bland enough for ESPN, and has done national radio before.

Yeah. Maybe. I said "the backups" at the Score.

What do you mean by "their kind"?

Are they droids?

Are you racist?

Or is the foil hat on and you're just a fucking moron?

I'm going with the latter.

Lewd, crude, rude, angry, hostile and not skilled at broadcasting. ESPN doesn't hire that kind.

i think they'll make Goff an offer, if he's not in contract. Otherwise, i think JD will get a chance..I love jd, but I don't think he's interesting enough... thing about Harry is, he was interesting. not always agreeable, but interesting

True. They made exceptions for experience and past success. But after Mac, they won't make that exception any more. They regret it. Mac actually is a skilled broadcaster, however.

They're sure as hell not gonna make exceptions for somebody getting their first shot with the lewd, crude and rude style. There is no percentage for them to do that.

No. They'll just give it to Hood if they want a Goff type. Hood is their part timer and he was Goff before Goff was Goff. If that makes sense. Pluse ESPN took all of the Score style out of Hood. He's pretty tame and boring the few times I've heard him over there. They've ESPNized him. I don't think they could do that to Goff. He's too far gone. It wouldn't take. Pretty sure producers and backups at the Score don't have contracts.

Has Mac's new contract been confirmed? I think Mac hired the officers to arrest Tiny. That way, Mac makes it back to the afternoon slot and makes more than 250k$. Yep.. that's it!

Despite Bernstein's popularity, success and talent, I don't even think ESPN 1000 would go after him if he ever became available. So, of course, they wouldn't go after his clones.

By septemeber Waddle and Silvy will be the afternoon show

Carm and Jd middays

Harry on the web doing horse racing radio.

Mac, jurko, and Goff afternoons on the score

B and B middays.

Replace horse racing radio with "Horse racing contributor on the Mike North Entertainment Network" and I think you're spot on.

Didn't Jurko sign a new 3 year deal recently?

These contracts arent iron clad. Its not like Hendry signed them. There are buyouts.

Anyway, my scenario would include a mutual parting of ways with Jurk and ESPN. In my scenario CJH is off the air.

You all know that the great one, north, is all over ESPN management on this- probably having Bebe writing up shit to send out about how "he's interested and talking to people" about the job. Coming soon.

The list of people ESPN 1000 would hire before they would settle for a Score backup:

Rustlers, cutthroats, murders, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con-men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglars, horse thieves, bull-dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers, and Methodists!

They regret having their station taken off life support?

Highest ratings in their history since The Score was around?

I highly doubt they regret hiring Mac. They probably regret the fact they couldn't get him to buy into the ESPN way.

Didn't take well last time they tried... For ESPN? I'd want Jiggetts over North. Otherwise we're talking two normal guys and a 'lookit me, lookit me"-style goof.

Seriously, you can promote Hood or promote JD. Hoods a lot more polished/capable

Hood makes this show a better listen than B and B for me. At the very least, I think it makes the Saloon a viable alternative.
