I tuned in to ESPN 1000 yesterday at 5 b/c B&B got snipped by DePaul and today from 2-5 b/c of preseason Sox.

Overall impression: NOT BAD!

Which is surprising because the show was totally unlistenable with Harry.

The show is basically the Jurko show featuring Carmen, because Carmen isn't really a man of profound or interesting opinions, but he doesn't get in the way of Jurko working his magic!

This means that I have a bailout when Terry's on vacation or Bernstein becomes insufferable. Thanks Bristol!

Yeah, what a waste the past few years have been with Harry. The show would have been at least top 10 in M25-54 had they launched Harry at the same time as Mac.

I suspected that Jurko would pick it up with Harry gone and it seems as if he has had the most obvious increase in responsibility for show content. It's interesting that they brought Waddle in for Jurko VS Waddle, rather than Carmen. It adds credibility to Macs ascertion that Waddle and Silvy will be joining Jurko in the afternoons in the near future. Silvy will just take over Carmen's role asking the questions when the change is made. Kind of a lame game today, with the Will Farrell movies being the subject.
