Jurko

After watching the Charger game riddle me this

When did NFL players not know the rules of the game, or is it just a matter of not caring, or being so focused on individual stats that ME is over TEAM.

Why on earth would McCree not just deflect the football to the ground or go to the ground after he gets a pick on a 4th and 5 in a close playoff game against New England?

Also, why do players ignore their coaches like when Florence head butts a player after his team gets a key 3rd down stop. Who the hell does that?? This guy is a friggin highly paid professional and he loses control like that....what a shithead.

Jesus Christ, this is why the NFL sucks, shitty fundamentals, conservative coaching and players who dont give a crap about playing as a team. San
Diego and Shottenheimer, Im sorry...but you suck and gave that game away BIG time.

I think instict takes over. If a ball is thrown right at you, you catch it and try to take it to the house.

I remember Walt Harris had an interception against the Packers and he then fell to the ground. He got LAMBASTED by the media and fans. Why fall down when you can gain an additional 20 or so yards - or possibly score.

I disagree with Tomlinson when he said 'the better team won today'.

I think the 'smarter and higher scoring' team won on Sunday - but not the better team. The Bolts had (and have) a boatload more of talent than the Patriots.

I will go along with "smarter". But I'll also argue that smarter is better.

While I agree that the Chargers are a more talented team, I don't think they are necessarily a better team than the Patriots. Belichick is a better coach than Schottenheimer will ever be and New England knows how to turn it on in the playoffs.

I would be very surprised if Jurko actually responds to this, though. I know he reads the board, but for some reaseon he doesn't post. What up wit that?
