I tuned in about 10:30 and Carmen, Jurko, and Tracy Butler were apparently doing a scene from something complete with terrible accents. It sound like something that would have been Teinowitz's idea if here were still with the station.

What is the purpose of Tracy Butler being on the show? Does she just give the weather (cause that's why I tune into sports radio) and chit chat?

She's there to bring a woman's perspective like Julie DiCaro.

The station was concerned about the lack of an old, old wooden ship used during the civil war.

Its a contest involving them performing scenes from Christmas movies (or Christmas scenes in a movie). They were doing the train coach scene from "Trading Places" and Butler was doing the Jamie Lee Curtis role. Maybe it wasn't executed with perfection, in large part because they all got a case of the giggles, but the effort was sound.

Still, if that is the lowpoint of the morning the rest of the show blows away the competition. Its listenable, intelligent, articulate, and when a joke is made nobody is laughing too hard at what they're trying to say.

Thanks, NCM. If I hadn't tuned in in the middle of it and knew what it was supposed to be it might not have seemed as bad.

I would be surprised if the affiliates were concerned about the lack of an old wooden ship, but nice try.
