Yeah, what he does on the show is his "schtick" to be more of the opposite of Golic. He just needs to dial that down a little.

I read the book as well- I thought it was pretty good. I LOL a couple of times through it, but then I laughed when I read Madeline.
So is banana bread a sweet or a bread? I am so confused

I remember when they debated this. I sent them an e-mail saying, "It's both you idiots." Surprisingly, I didn't get a response.

My wife (who listens to AM 1000), just asked me, "Have you been cracking up about the whole "Tazering" conversation on Mike and Mike?"

I told her I was filing for divorce tomorrow.

Scott, you nailed it. This show is like Eric and Kathy's version of a sports talk show.

The tazing while milking a cow seems intriguing also. If nothing else, then for science.

Would someone please tell Fran Fraschilla (sp?) and the other 150 analysts that I've heard this week that the phrase is -

A tough ROW to hoe.

not

A tough road to hoe.

How the hell do you hoe a road?

I hear it every year at the beginning of March Madness.

Doc, word has it that Pacific Highway South in Washington State was a "tough road to ho." If you met up with Gary Rigdeway, that is.

I like Murph's show more than I do this one. What does that tell you.

It tells me that the Score ought to be paying you for all the praise you give them and all the criticizing you do of their competition. Some of us try to be a bit more balanced in our criticisms. But hey..by all means...keep doing it. Maybe there's a future as a paid shill in it for you.

What the hell are you talking about. Have you read any of my Murph posts. I've been bashing him for the last 3 years on this board. Coast, if your idea of good radio is Greenberg and Golic playing the generic "Odd Couple" roles then more power to you. I don't like hearing debates on wherther banana bread is a sweet or a bread. I don't give a shit which analysts want to see Golic and Greenberg tazed. I don't like hearing two corporate lapdogs sing the praises of the ESPN "experts". I don't like hear Greenberg treat every arbitrary issue as if it's the end of the world.

I'm not sure what you're problem is with me. I have my tastes and you have yours. Who gives a shit. If you don't like the Score, then don't listen. And from reading your posts, it seems like you don't that often. That's fine. Stick to satellite and ESPN radio, and I'll stick with the Score.

I'm just joshing you Sleuth. I see what you are saying. let's all have a group hug and get over it. I agree with your M&M points and I'll plug Steve Czaban again as a morning alternative if you have the magic radio or can listen from your desk on XM.

Yeah, I've been on the muscle the last week or so. I'm tiring of Mickeyland and am thinking it's time for a move back to the "chicagoland" area.

Sleuth, I don't have a problem with you. I'm just playing with ya. What we each like and dislike is irrelevant. It's just the fact you are so predictable about it. If somebody says MJH are good, you're usually right there to say they're bad. If somebody says B&B are bad, you're right there to say they are good. That's all. You are the #1 B&B shill on the board. No harm in that. It's just funny, that's all.

Maybe there is a business opportunity in this for me. Maybe I could start taking book here on you. If somebody expresses any negative opinion about B&B, how long will it be before Sleuth counters with a contrary opinion? Maybe if there is enough interest, I'll figure the over/under on it. And the fact we all agree on Murph, (well most of us anyway except Good Dolphin), doesn't really mean much. Ok. i've had my fun. I'm sure there is some negativity about B&B somewhere around here you must address. Carry on.

i get uncomfortable whenever golic does dial for men ads. just hearing him say "mansuit" sends shivers down my spine.

it's a stupid term anyway...

I just want to know in those ads why Greeny being non-athletic is important to his ability to shower? Is that an inside peek at their relationship?

the "dry and tight" phrase is a little odd as well.

Now Golic can ask Ed Belfour what the Taser experience is like...

(From AOL Sports.Com):

The Eagle Has Landed -- After Being Tasered

Posted Apr 9th 2007 11:30AM by Jon "J.P." Press
Filed under: General NHL, Panthers, Eastern, NHL Police Blotter

A couple of Florida Panthers got their off-season started in style, partying into the wee hours of Monday morning and ending up with a trip to the Miami-Dade County jail.

Goaltender Ed Belfour and winger Ville Peltonen "were at Nikki Beach around 1 a.m. when they were asked to leave for disorderly conduct. When the pair refused to leave, an officer responded to the scene."

As the officer approached the men, Belfour got into a fighting position, and the two got into a scuffle, which forced the officer to taser Belfour.

Belfour, no stranger to the police blotter, had recently had an on-ice meltdown, so his off-ice meltdown is unsurprising, if not predictable.
