I enjoyed that, this morning, Greenie teased about the possibility that Bonds may not break the home run record and had to qualify it as "this is real, it could happen" (paraphrasing).

The qualification needed from the boy who cried "Wolf!" because apparently nobody believes he teases real stories anymore.

After seeing the highlights of Bonds playing the outfield last night, he might not get enough playing time to break the record.

I did not hear the tease, I had to turn the dial after the half hour discussion on makeup for men.
Did Greenie give any basis for the Bonds conjecture?

Based on this article, he theorized that Selig could suspend him and the appeal process could take the rest of the season. Then, who knows what could happen in the offseason.
