Now I know a lot of people on here do not like this show. But, as ESPN as it is, it is not the MNMS. Anyway, how much time off do these guys get? I cant remember the last time I heard both of them on the air together and it seems like weeks since I heard either of them. This is not rare. Anyone know what the deal is?

the past couple months have been a good time of year in general to take off considering the sports landscape of summer, plus they get an extra national show to see what any of the backups can do, and get a better idea of the next douche that is gonna be on from 12-3, err 12-2 hopefully

I think that they get a pretty hefty vacation package. They were on the air one day last week (together) I think. It is just riveting radio regardless of who is in the chairs, really.

I would love to work for ESPN to get a vacation package like that. They should just start calling the show the "ESPN Morning Show on ESPN Radio" and then do the same for the afternoon show (unfortunately, I believe we won't be getting a local show b/w 12 - 2 or 3 ).

Well, guess who wasn't on the air this morning?

They will probably be off the whole week....

i'm pretty sure it happens every year guys....

it's preseason football and the "pennant race" isn't quite here yet.
even our locals are on vaca. here and there.

AWFUL, AWFUL!

If you're going to take a break, now's a great time....Football starts end of August/early September, baseball races will be coming down to the last month....There's still happenings in sports, but compared to September, this is the calm before the storm.

Why is it every time a brother is on the radio, the white dude has to try and be "hip" for the black dude? We've been hearing a lot of that lately with Michael Smith on lately.
