I may be missing something here, but can someone tell me if a crowd can actually lift a player "physically?" Simms was on with Mike and Mike this morning and he mentioned how like twice a year a crowd will lift a player both physically and emotionally. I knew the emotionally part, but to raise them physically is new to me  .

I heard that too and thought the same thing. How is Simms not on the most overrated list too? He's the first guy I think of. He was a good player who had one great game. |

I thought it was funny that when they asked Simms whether Moss and TO were overrated, Simms said Moss wasn't and didn't say a word about TO. Stupid Mikes never followed that up. |

I guess he meant either that they can make throws and plays that they otherwise would not make because of the crowd being so into it, or if they are sick/injured, the crowd provides enough adrenaline to them so its like they dont even have that setback anymore. I can see where he's coming from, though it might have been a stretch |

Anyone caught a game with Simms on the crew? Before kick-off he gives his keys to both teams winning...he has a graphic and everything...called something like Football "Phil" osophy, with "Phil" written in script. Someone got paid a lot to come up with that gem...
