So is Coppeck only back on Fridays? Because I like Mike & Mike and I (for the most part) don't like Chet all that much.

He is absolutely Ted Baxter and as long as I think of him in that roll, I find the humor in it. Ted Baxter was a great character who was annoying and self-absorbed, but he grew on everybody. Chet is the same way.

I'm not sure that I'm feeling any chemistry at all with Jeff Dickerson. I actually like Jeff a lot, but I'm wondering if he'd be a better fit with Silvy. I think Silvy grew up idolizing Chet. Maybe Hood would make for some interesting entertainment with Chet.

I'm sure they will NOT be replacing Mike and Mike, so simmer down, Uncle. I could see them putting him 7-10, leaving S&C out at least temporarily, unless the ratings do not justify keeping around the train wreck that is Salis. and Rosey.

Well, we weren't missing much today anyway if you like Mike and Mike - it was Eric Kassilias (sp?) and Buster Olney. Now, I like Buster, but I can't stand the other douchebag

I'll give Dickerson and Coppock a break, its their first time working together. But Chet can't work with another person in the room. He needs to be solo. Baum was on the Score this morning with Coppock on 1000. I thought it was 1985 when I woke up this morning.

So do you think Chet actually writes the $50 check to Cubs Care out of his wallet or does he tell some intern to handle it...

i'd listen to a Coppock show on MVP, but not in the morning. a little too sedate for 7 a.m. (at least mike and mike are spazzy and wake you up) maybe evenings, a la the old Chet show?

i was thinking Chet would ask JD for $10 after the show to help cover his bet with Len.

I turned on this morning and Chet was talking about Da Coach and he said , " I told Mike that if he had run for senate against Obama a couple years ago he probably would have won", and then I changed the station

I love listening to M&M on my way to work. Friday, I was tolerating Erika Sillyass because Buster Olney is worth the trouble. I got to hear them profile the probable National League all-star selections, then they promised the AL in the hour to come. Next thing I know, Chet Chitchat is polluting the airwaves. I hope WMVP isn't considering preempting M&M for that pompous windbag on a regular basis. The only winner in such an arrangement is Mike North, obviously.
