Listening to Skip Clueless this morning (subbing for Golic) was brutal. This guy makes Bernstein seem humble and Mike North well reasoned. :roll:

Getting back to your original post though regarding Skip Bayless. Earlier this week Conan
had Shaq on the show and the subject came up about whether Shaq would be able to call
out guys that he used to play against in the league since he'll be a commentator on the
popular NBA show with Barkley and Kenny Smith. Shaq said he had no problem with it
and that the only problem he had was with guys in the media who had no athletic talent
ever that would call out the pros. Conan asked him if he wanted to spill the beans on who
he might be talking to but Shaq declined. Conan began asking the next question and
Shaq blurts out Skip Bayless. It was pretty funny.

I flipped on M & M during a commercial and was quickly disgusted to hear Bayless. What a bitter, assbag!

In terms of Shaq, that line of thinking is classic jock mentality. You don't need athletic ability to analyze and have a valid point on sports. I want to listen to the smart guy talk about sports not the great athlete.

it'd be one thing if skip actually believed half the things he said. he just wants to cause controversy. unfortunately he's good at it.

Yeah, I get it totally. That is the analyst's job. Funny to hear that he got under Shaq's skin.

Very awkward yesterday when Screamin' A was all but accusing Skippy of being a racist saying he goes after Moss, TO, and Ochocinco for being team cancers but defends Brett Farve.

I was hoping Screamin' would go all the way but he kept just short of going over the line by asking over and over "What is difference?"

I just can't watch this without a lot of booze in me and it is too early in the day for the amount of booze it would take.
