Greenie said today that he routinely gets emails/tweets (and has for years) that refer to him using the "K" word (rhymes with Mike). I was kind of shocked when I heard that. He says he pays those no attention and is not bothered. Not sure why, but it bothers me. He might be a Jets fan but surely he doesn't need to see that kind of hate every single day. |

why would i get riled up about macklemore? some arthouse hipster (who strikes me as a bit of a lush for some reason) managed to get "big" in that asher-roth-brand/post-eminem "look at the white rapper who's above it all unlike all of those ghetto brothers acting the fool?" role? macklemore's ok.... but acting like he's the second coming of eminem is just, well, that hawkeroo "STRETCH!" comment otra vez. he just happened to have some catchy songs at a point in time where there's no other white rapper/s worth pushing to the stratosphere (mac miller? no. action bronson? too much of a niche... he doesn't have the sex appeal to be a proper chart-topper) but yeah spmackman, i look forward to a future chock full of your damn-near-psychic expertise as the sini-whisperer. just keep a backpack full of d-batteries around to power the sinisignal in case of emergency..... or well i guess if somebody's about to rob you. |

oh yeah, and i still can't help but call this show "the golden boy and the golden goy." i'm fairly sure if you search on that term it returns some old posts of mine where i also used the term, so go figure in today's ultra-PC culture i'm just about the only one with the requisite calhones to use that term even semi-publicly cuz i'm not afraid of being branded a racist by people with an agenda of racial dominance propagated by fear and/or censorship. |
