If the Brewers injuries come at the same pace as last year, cubbies should win the division. It's already started...

Brewers' Gallardo to have knee surgery, expected to miss four weeks
Associated Press

PHOENIX -- Brewers starter Yovani Gallardo has torn cartilage in his left knee and is expected to miss the first four weeks of spring training.

Gallardo will return to Milwaukee on Monday and have the arthroscopic procedure Tuesday. He then will return to the Brewers' camp to begin physical therapy.

Brewers spokesman Tyler Barnes said Sunday the right-hander had discomfort a few days ago after a throwing session. His knee swelled up afterward.

The 22-year-old Gallardo, expected to be a main cog in the Brewers rotation, was 9-5 with a 3.57 ERA in 20 games last season, including 18 starts.

He's a really good young pitcher.

Why would they send him back to Milwaukee for surgery and then rehab in Arizona. Are there no doctors in the Phoenix area?

Look out for the Astros in the division as well.

If that comes true, that would be the prediction of the year. I have not heard anyone looking for the Astros to make any noise. Well, maybe Milo, but all the prognosticators I have seen call for them to be pretty bad.
