Piniella recently said the Cubs have made four base running mistakes in the last two days...and they have.

My tivo picked up yesterdays game on Seattle channel 651 (direct tv)...so that was nice surprise when I got home last night. Anyway...I was watching Cedeno get picked off of first...then Cintron (I think) get thrown out at third on a grounder to short..and another put out at third on a grounder to first. Pie' got picked off the other day too. What the F?

Should I start the chant to get rid of Bobby Denier? ha-ha

Was it Chus that had a haiku spoof which ended with the word "refridgerator"? That was hilarious. I've looked for it (lacking the creativity to reincarnate it myself) and not found it.

To see some of the same mistakes cropping up which plagued the club last year is annoying as hell. I would think that correcting them would be a top priority... or not. :evil:

While I agree that it's early spring training, base running is not something you should need to get into the swing of. Missing fastballs, swinging high on curveballs...bad timing on the double play, this is the kind of thing that I would give the spring training pass to. Stupidity? Well, that's either something you have or don't have.
